Mechatronics was the perfect launchpad. It taught me how systems interact, how sensors sense, how actuators respond, and how code brings it all to life. That same systems thinking now fuels my work in software, cloud, and intelligent automation.
I studied Mechatronics Engineering at Yaba College of Technology, where I learned to blend electronics, mechanics, control systems, and computing. Whether I was building robotic arms or simulating circuits, I was always drawn to how software could make machines smarter.
During my projects, I started writing embedded C and Python to control microcontrollers like the Arduino and STM32. The real thrill came when I saw code influencing the physical world, blinking LEDs, controlling motors, reading sensors. This hands-on experience helped me understand how important automation and integration were to real-world engineering.
Eventually, my curiosity in building smarter systems led me into backend development, data processing, and deploying real-time dashboards for real users. Mechatronics gave me the foundation; software and data turned it into scale.
Now, I apply this interdisciplinary mindset to solve problems in Africa, whether it's clean energy monitoring, smart business systems, or automation for sustainable development. With every system I build, I carry my Mechatronics roots with me.
